so when i got the camaro from adam i also got a polished tb. now it was done by adam and seems damn smooth! however im wondering if it makes a lot of difference...any thoughts?

also im noticing that the round piece that contrls flow is not in the tb. so can i use the one from the setup in my car now?

also this piece right here was not attached. it looks like it has 4 little metal prongs that rest on the inside of the tb. they were bent but i straightened them out. any thoughts as to them being ruined if bent?

I dont think a polished TB by itself will gain you anything without polishing the intakes as well. also its missing the mesh and I thought having one is better than not, simply because it stabilizes the air as it enters the the intakes for better flow. unless you go FI i dont think a polished TB has any gains.

As for the sensor pins, i dont think there is any damage just because of a bent pin.

ok so my thoughts were correct. i know its missing the mesh. i figured anything missing i could use off of the non polished one.

The smoother the better, even its only 1rwhp its something. and doing this will help with other mods down the road.

Would be really helpful with some spray.

the TBs are plenty big enough stock, but smoothing them out, and smoothing the blade is a good idea
