if you mean curb rash or pits, yes. i had to clean up the vette wheel i had. the curb rash you have to file down the rash and sand paper the pits the best you can. its not goig to look like new but you can certainly removed obvious rash.
for the finish it really depends on the type of wheel. polish aluminum is easy to polish back out. take a high grit sandpaper and smooth the suface and get a polishing wheel and metal polish compound and polish away until you are satisfied.
coated aluminum wheel are hard to make look the same. you are probably better off repainting them or even plastidip. just depends on the condition of the wheels and the goal you are looking to have.
