she can't/won't learn to drive a stick even though the other 2 vehicles we have at the house are stick.

and they will run forever... even if its abused. She's run the car with little to no oil for days before...

Good to see that was an easy fix. One redeeming quality of those 4 cylinder motors.

good point. legally I guess I'm only "Engaged" but we've been living together for several years now... wife/girlfriend/fiance.. its only labels. I explaining it is much harder than just calling her the wife LOL

on a similar note we plan to make it official next year if all goes to plan.

Well it turns out that Courtney is very good at wearing out a motor. the running low of oil has made its mark... the motor knocks and barely had enough hp to pull itself onto a trailer.

Luckily for us her cousin had wrecked an 2006. its been sitting for 4 months and probably has a good motor in it. I've got to check the miles and hopefully start the car one day this week.

I've pulled the valve cover off and the oil pan... i dont see anything out of the ordinary except for the river of silver in the oil pan

So hopefully one more week of it sitting and i'll have it swapped... maybe.

It slow going but the motor is out and I have the Donor car at the house getting de motored. Its nice not to have to be ginger with the wires on this one. I'm just cutting the whole harness at the firewall pretty much lol

Hopefully finishing it up on friday or saturday. It will be nice to finish this so I can work on the camaro for the cruise.

its slow going because of the weather and lack of light after work. the weather in grant probably has been the same as here the past few day.
