Honestly, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. Took us 6 hours start to finish and spent a whole bunch of that time cleaning up the intakes and valve covers. Didn't think a dohc was 4 camshafts, so I learned that haha. The valve train underneath the valve covers though? Look brand spanking new and the oil was unbelievably clean. My dad didn't believe me when I told him that the truck had 215,000kms. Discovered I had a leak on my intake as well as my common body, so that got fixed. Runs alot smoother after replacing all the vaccuum hose clamps as well. Feels like a new truck.

Just a few pics I was finally able to snap of the Isuzu. Decoded all the codes and looks like I got an upgraded rad and a few other goodies over the basic package, including the limited slip differently. I thought the G80 code looked familiar haha. I'll snap some interior pics after I give it it's weekly clean. The metal rails very back have been covered since new with a rubber cargo mat. They still have the blue plastic from factory, and as you can see from how clean the engine is and that hood insulator, the truck has been very well taken care of. Only the 3rd owner, I have a binder of receipts from when it was new as well. Really proud of myself with the find seeing as how I only paid $2100 CAD for it and it had over $9000 in work down prior to me buying it. Tranny rebuilt, all new disk brakes all the way around, Timing chain, new head, brand new tires that only had ~1000kms on them looking at the receipts. I got her with 189,000kms and she's sitting at about 217,000 now. Only thing I don't really like too much is the previous owner did a synthetic switch which makes the oil changes a little pricier but other than that, she's been a real beaut. Just thought I'd give you guys a more formal introduction.

Powered, heated mirrors that fold in at the push of a button. Heated seats, I love this truck lol. It has it's engine design flaws, but what doesn't right? haha
