Hell yeah man. I thought I might be sick but I think it's just excitement in my belly. I keep imagining how this mill is gonna pull. I don't wanna get my hopes up tho. lol

Just topped it off with $50 worth of Comp Cams 10w-30 ZDDP Enhanced break in oil. 5 qts.

I'm trying to remember a procedure some tech told me months ago about priming the oil system. It needs to be done apparently, because I've cranked it over a good number of turns with the oil sender out and nothing so far. The original starter turns nicely with the terminals cleaned up a little.

Any tips?

How'd you prime your concentric gerotor pump?

Update: I now have oil flow from the pump. I used my a/c flush can from AutoZone on 30 psi to prime the system through the oil sender hole.

Btw anybody know what thread that is? I don't have an adapter for that. It's a weird coarse thread pitch. So I can't test for oil pressure.

I have a 2 wire sender but I'm not sure if it's for a gauge or a light. Both types of senders are 2 wire.

Any ideas?

Whelp. I did something right. Static compression test shows all 6 cylinders hitting right around 180 psi.
Good news!

This here is the lowest cylinder. It's number six.

The oil sender is 12mm x 1.75. Amazon had the adapter set for 10 bucks.
While I wait for that I'm gonna work on the TB extension. I want to push out out by 3.5 inches at least to clear the throttle linkage.

Hey Dustin, do you think 3D printing is a viable option for my throttle body spacer?
Would a piece thin enough to fit, hold up to bolt stress and the weight of a TB hanging off it? I only need 3.5 inches of length and 2.7 inches ID. But a secondary tube brings atmospheric pressure to a sensor or something. The photo illustrates the positions of the two passages. I'll post up some better pics soon.

I'd say that cold it would hold up but ABS only has melting point of 221 F. I would not use it on the motor where it see operating temp. there are other materials that are higher temp but also harder to print. i's say that is going to have to be a machined part
