So I just got pacesetter Headers installed into my car. However now when i start up the car and start to drive it jerks and shakes whenever I accelerate. I looked it up and i'm thinking it is a spark plug wire problem. So I bough some MSD 8.5mm 90* plug wires. Will this get my car running back to normal, is there anything else that could go wrong from header install?

If you got a minute go look for burnt wires on your headers, shouldn't be that hard to spot.

But yes, 90* boots are better than the straight boot style.

Do you have any SES codes? Random Misfire?

Idk I dont have a code reader, but yeah the SES light will blink randomly usually under acceleration

you recalled correctly.

to the op, take your car to an autozone or similar parts store and they can scan it for you. It will either pull up a multiple/random cylinder misfire or if your lucky a cylinder specific misfire. Most likely it is a plug wire, change them out and see if it is cured. if not check your plugs.

could be a cracked plug. i did that when i put mine in. when you get a chance, take out the plug and see if the porcilan is cracked. if it is, new plug.

did you check your wire to #6 plug?
