I got a 94 camaro v6 3.4L. Ive tried every brand of wipers offered from auto zone. they all say i need 24inch blades. same thing online. The problem is that they dont hit my window all the way and leave some spots un-wiped that makes it difficult to see. Any body know anything that would help me?

true story:

one time i broke my windshield wiper motor (on my beater saturn) in the middle of a buffalo winter. (very dangerous to drive without one)

solution:

turn the defroster on full blast, apply rain X and hope the snow melts on the windshield enough for the Rain X to work.

worked for a couple weeks til my parents found out and flipped.

24s are what you need. You have to put them on a little oddly, but they do work once you get them on. You basically have to put them on reversed...hence the "reverse hook".

Get some wiper arms from a 98-02 and ditch that funky reverse hook crap. Then get some of those blades that don't have the metal spine but just curve to the windshield.

I HATE the pre-98 reverse hook arms; you can't find a decent blade for them IMO. I'm just to lazy to get around to finding and swapping arms.

You need to buy Trico Exact Fit wipers, part #24-9R. They will fit your car perfectly and they will wipe the entire windshield.

I have used them since the day I bought my Firebird and I have never had a problem.

Actually, I use Trico Exact Fit on all of my cars. They are the BEST wipers made as far as I am concerned.

Advance Auto Parts always has the 24-9R in stock on the shelf.

Do not try 18". That is incorrect and they will be way too small.

I used 24-9R until I got 98+ wiper arms so i can use any 24 inch wiper blade

I have a 97 Camaro with the same screwy design , the exact fits are the ONLY thing I have found that will fit properly.

IF you want to keep the orginal arms then thats what you need . I tried everything autozone had nothing fit until they finally sent me to NAPA to get the exact fits. Then again autozone sells the replacment arms for like 25 bucks sooo.

Advance sells the Trico Exact Fits for about $7 each. I just deal with it. It's not that bad to change once you get used to it and know what works.

Yeah he thanks for the heads up there on advance. I am ummm not going to say how much Napa got me for ( but I could have done both your cars for what I paid for mine )

Yep it is pretty much just like changing a wiper blase on an arm with the non upside down j hook and the 24-9Rs do a good job.

So is "Trico" a brand or a type of blade? I have the same issue.

Ive got 24 new style rain-x's. Work great but leave a small spot unwiped.

Trico is a brand of blades . I had the same issue with rain x's. The exact fit trico's is what actually works on my camaro.
