I found 3" piping, but it says it only fits v8 firebird...my question is will it fit my v6 with little to no fabrication?

yes, it will work, you will still need a 3in s-pipe and cat.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, just wanting to make sure before I buy something that won't work.

Related question. Peep this.

This is a 3" diameter, 6" radius U-pipe. Most folks cut this in half, twist it 180 degrees and weld it back together to make their "S" pipe.

My question is. From where are they measuring to get the 6" radius? Outside? Inside? Center line?

Anyone know?

Ok... I believe the measurement is from the centerline. For example if you had a 3" pipe with a 6" radius the overall width of the pipe would be 15 inches.

the three inch piping should fit easy. my exhaust is three inches and every exhaust shop has the proper hangers and spacers needed for it to go on smoothly.

I have no rubbing or grinding from mine.
