are there any Performance Intake manifolds for the 3.8? trying to figure out a build, and would like a good intake.

I know people have used the intake from the Holden cars, and ported the stock one, but I dont think there are any performance aftermarket ones. feel free to correct me if im wrong

there are aftermarket ones if you want to pay a boatload. I run the holden setup, it is not a simple bolt on and go setup, you need to fab some things up and also drop the engine at least .5" lower to make enough clearance at the cowl.

depends on your goals, 98% of the people modding the 3.8 don't need a manifold and just run ported stockers. It's for the all out crowds that need the little extra hp.

Yea most port there own or run abbotts ported ones. The holden setups sure look nice though, and should perform a good bit better.

I wish the 3.4 manifold didn't suck and that I could afford a 3400 manifold. I doubt porting the 3.4 would do anything but waste money. :banghead:

I'm pondering a single plane intake once my cam goes in... but its all just in thought right now...
