So I looked at the firebird (3.4 auto) from underneath. What is the connector-like object near the rear axle? It looks like it shouldnt be loose, but I didnt see any place to attach it to.

OK and right at front driver's side I noticed a broken ground ---but did not figure out where it has originally been attached to (to which device)?! The ground looked copper.

The car runs and drives pretty much OK, but these things kinda bother me, so help needed!

don't worry about that ground strap it is broken on every single 3.4 i've ever seen. It originally attaches from the drivers side head or ps bracket to the body of the car (right about underneath where all the abs shit is) no biggy...

i have no clue what the first pic is though

I believe the first is a tank vent. according to my layouts (best ten dollars i ever spent on ebay) every f-body has one. although I haven't seen mine before? It doesn't connect to anything, just hangs.

totally OT, but the fuel-o-meter sure is funny. It was showing about half... and then I poured in about 10 gallons.:naughty:
