Drove my car to work this morning and it ran good, but driving home was a different story. It was real sluggish, I wonder if it is because it's hot out. The temp gauge was higher than normal. She usually runs like a rape date.

What kind of intake do you have? If you had on ac, have a hot air intake, bad tstat i could see it being sluggish.

I hope that helps it out, I probably need to put some premium fuel in it also.

At least it helped. I had a 160 drilled in my monte this winter. Worst decision of my life haha.

If GA was anything like NC yesterday... the higher temp and humidity will make it sluggish. A cooler t-stat is definitely a plus.

Changed the thermostat to the 180, and it seems to have helped it out alot.

i dunno if the tstat helped it, probably the weather changing a bit helped. The car is still going to get to the same operating temp as before, just that it will take longer as your thermostat is opening at 180 now instead of 195. Your fans are still going to kick in at the normal temps.

I don't know, you can let it sit there and run and the temp will go past 210 and the fans won't come on. If I turn the a/c on the fans come on.

hmm, your fans should come on even with the ac off, you might want to do some more digging and testing on this issue then. Do the fans come on at all if the ac is off?

No, I'm scared to let it keep running past 210.
