So my car is losing oil and coolant and I can see that it is coming from the intake manifold. My question is this anybody know of what gaskets to buy and of a good walk through on how to change these gaskets?

You'll have to do the upper to get the lower out, may as well do the valve covers $10.

i just got done with this. i got my upper and lower gasket from napa. it ended up being the pesky elbow. if you take off the tentioner mounting bracket it leaves alot of room to take off and on the intake.

I was gonna say... go ahead and replace the coolant elbows while your doing it... preventive maintenence ftw.

well half the time it's the o rings that go so i think that making them out of aluminum would not help there. it's just the design of the piece.

i've have numerous problems with them. they've broken to pieces on me before. one actually blew out because it got soft from the heat. and taking it on and off it feels like its going to break pulling it out of the LIM. Better o-rings i can find.

Yea I am just gonna replace everything. I just got all my parts that is needed for this. I am going to get started on this in about a week or 2 and when I do I will put together a step by step instruction guide. Not sure if there is anything on here or anything like that anywhere else. Obviously on alldata and any other of those types of programs will have step by step but this is free. Let me know if there already sommething on here like that.
