Yea, but you will need an elbow to make it work. I used a Lt1 elbow from a Roadmaster for mine.

TBH I think the chrome intakes intake would be fine, if I would have known you were in the market I would have taken mine off the firebird before I junked it :x

They're like 25$ and they do the exact same thing :P

the slp intake isnt round its more between oval and round. any suggestions

3.8blackmaro
04-23-2013, 06:35 PM

snowcolt17
04-23-2013, 06:44 PM

SlasherVRGR

You could get an adapter for it slightly larger, one of those couplers at autozone could work. Im sure they make them at around the size you need.

So it just hits it a bit? If you want to put it on there just sit it in boiling water for a bit so it expands a bit. You will be able to get it over that doing it that way.

snowcolt17
04-23-2013, 08:43 PM
*takes the upper radiator support of* oh it fits... next on the list is to find a 1le elbow. going to call a few more places and sell this one i have. maybe i can get $10 out of it

3.8blackmaro
04-23-2013, 09:16 PM
Ah I couldn't see it in the pic. Just take the cover off, just 3 10mm bolts and push the radiator back an that intake will drop right in.

snowcolt17
04-23-2013, 09:21 PM
yea i did. just got pissed because of the elbow and didnt think to take the cover off.

now hopefully they will take the elbow back. maybe.

and call a few more places and find a 4.5" to 4" coupler

3.8blackmaro
04-23-2013, 09:23 PM
Why not use the elbow? It can't be that hard to seal a piece of rubber in there.

snowcolt17
04-23-2013, 10:02 PM
lol ill trade ya then. jk

this one has a huge hole on top.. which woukld bother me everytime i looked at it lol. akso thinking about getting the intake powdercaoted. guy said he wont for $30

from the top of the big hole to the outlet is a little over 9"
