Has anyone done the big 3 in our cars? Specifically with the 3.4's.

form what i was told on the other v6 sites, you only need to change the alt wire to a bigger gauge and then go form the alt to the post on the fender, instead of the battery. made a huge difference for me, no more voltage drop when stopping....

I did it with kicker 0g in my firebird. I've done it on every car I've owned except this one :x

I'm about to do mine with some 4AWG. I'm running positive from bat to alt, negative from bat to fenderwell in the engine bay, and I'm trying to figure out the best place to go from bat to engine for that grounding point.

I went to the cluster of grounds right near the TB. Buy that's just because im lazy :P I made my own mounting point on freshly stripped metal for bat to chassis, and the stock alt to bat wire crapped out so that's where it all started on my firebird :P

I was thinking one of the bolts on the alt.

I don't see why that wouldn't work :0

I've seen it go to the alt mounting bolts
