NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Ok...wont do that.

Hey Dust, would a bad MAF necessarily throw a code? I have a p0300 and i think the MAF might be causing it. Its not throwing one now but it was when i first got it. I cleaned it and the code went away.

So you dont think a bad MAF would cause a misfire? Or you dont think the MAF would throw a code for itself?

Because your isn't dbw it going to let air in and the Maf if working or not shouldn't stop it from firing

I gut my cat a few years ago. I don't recommend it. I didn't like the sound that it made. I just put a straight pipe on it a couple weeks ago. I have an o2 sim with no o2 sensor at all.

So you recommend a straight pipe in place of it? And it works and sounds good now?

No cat here. Mine sounds a lot better with pacesetter headers and 3" exhaust to the Flowmaster muffler

I have a high-flow cat in the trunk of the Monte. Although I'm asking if the speed shop can just gut my current cat instead. If they gut it, I can sell you the high-flow if you want it.

P0300 is usually fuel related (in my experience).

First I need to see if it's getting put on my Monte lol. Although I have the feeling that my current one will get gutted, and then I won't need it.

I'll keep updated and put it here first.
