Took these way back when it was actually nice in Upstate NY.

Decided to go for a more "raked" look.....

So, what do you think??

Hahah, these tell the rest of the story....

Cutting the S-pipe was defintally the hardest part.
I know the instructions say not to cut the s-pipe on the 98+...
I ended up saws-alling about a 1/8" of the O2 bung, not fun.

Rusty rear end, not to bad for a 10 year old upstate NY car its whole life.....

Yes, the left side is higher up than the right side.
At first I loved the look of that, the tip up higher, touching the bumper.
But then got to thinking about how when they get hot, and boy do they get hot, will they warp/burn the bumper?

So I ended up bending the hanger that you put in down. Looks ok now.

Future plans for it:

-It is currently held together by U-Clamps, so I need/want to get it welded.
-Need to get the 02 bung welded in.
-The S-Pipe bangs against the heat shield right now, annoying at hell.
-I want to cut the tips, not the polished part, and bring them into the car about 1"-2". I think the "tucked" look would look better.
-Headers and hi-flow cat are in basement.

Comments/Criticism welcome!!

Thanks for the replies everyone!!

I can't believe I forgot to tell you what I put on!

It's a 2.5" Magnaflow Cat-Back.
3.5" Slash tips come with it, and they are freaking beastly to hold in your hands.

Can't get a sound clip up, my $500 DSLR doesn't take video!! :(

But there is the Nikon d90 that does.... hmmmm chirstmas......

how did you get the car on the ramps like that?

Looks sweet, I need one of those ramps...

Those ramps come in verrry handy a lot of times....

I needed to jack up the rear end with 2 blocks on top of that to make clearance for the ramps.

My tires, which are 245's (and yes, are snow tires) BARLEY fit onto those ramps. I mean the sidewalls of my tires were begging for mercy.

Funny thing is, when we jack up my friends 95 mustang onto the ramps, he has plenty of space....I think ford put 215's or something on it.

Cool i run a magnaflow muffler, but the rest of the exhaust is a custom 3" mandrel bent pipe. I love mangaflow sound though.
