Default 2008 SCCA National Solo Rules

What's up with Solo II? What class does your car run? What safety equipment do you need? It is all in the Rulebook. Any questions, just ask.

Great info. I still plan to race as soon as I get my clutch issue taken care of.

The rules are actually pretty simple. Most of the rule book is the car classification which can be a pia.

yeah, i was looking at that. how the f*ck do you classify the car? i plan on running this year so i'll have to figure it out eventually. where do you think i could pick up a paper copy of the rules? that would be a lot easier to read than that pdf file.

If you car is stock, you just need to look up the stock class. They run from A stock (Caymans, Corvettes, etc) to H Stock (NA Jetta). If you have mods, then you need to find the right modded class. They tend to build on each other. Since I have new pistons and a cam, I have to run Street Mod.

If you go to a local meeting, they usually have rule books for sale.
