    Default Southern F-body Tuning Day-Meet

Just a heads up for those who might be interested in coming to hang out with us or maybe getting a tune.

My club, Southern Fbody, is holding a tuning day/meet on January 26th (Saturday). We're bringing in our tuner (Todd, owner of Blue Thunder 2 Racing) from Texas. He is AWESOME and doesnt rest until his customers are completely happy. Hell, he even set a world record for worlds fastest cam only Trailblazer SS. His initial tunes for 1st time customers is $350...and I believe you'll be ALOT happier and surprised with your car after hes done. I jokingly call him Midas, because of his golden touch....lol. Anyhoo, this tuning day will be held at a club members house/shop just north of Kiln, MS. We'll be tuning, hanging out and cooking up some grub of some sort....so please consider attending.

If you are interested in coming, please PM here or over at www.southernfbody.com under the same screen name....or you can call me at 601-299-0604. Thanks everyone.

Aww man, yall are gonna miss out on a good time thats for sure. This will be the 4th time that we've done this and its always a blast...even for those of us who dont get a tune done. We've boiled crawfish, fried fish, grilled hamburgers-hotdogs and chicken before....if you leave hungry its your own dang fault. The last time we had a tuning day, we hit the pool and had golf cart races thru the woods....lol. Hell, yall come hang out, then go hit the casinos afterwards....make the weekend of it.

I hate that none of yall could make it, it was quite a long...but fun day. We tuned cars from 8am all the way up past midnight. We only had 8 cars to do but some were a bit of a handful to get straightened out. We had enough food to feed a small army (chili, bbq'd brisket, chicken parmasean, spaghetti, sausage w/peppers, salads, cakes, cookies, etc).....for those who were waiting for their tuning time, we had a small arsenal of various types of weapons to shoot down at creek bank. (I never realized how much fun shooting a Mosin Nagant and a AK could be.) We had about 30 people show up just to hang and just have fun.....it was a great time. We'll probably do it again sometimes this summer, you all should try to make it if you can.
