All members - Please read.
V6F-body Members,
We would first like to thank all the members for their continued support and welcome all the new members that we have acquired recently. Since the start, we have strived to grow and help bring support and information to the V6 f-body community. To continue to help our community grow, we have decided that a few more rules be set in place (or enforced in some cases, as they were already there before).
- Keep off topic posting in the lounge. You cannot have a successful technical section with off topic posting or trolling. From the start, we prided ourselves on not being a strict, mod happy site. We are not intending to change this, however please keep the tech threads in line with the original post.
- Do not make personal attacks in the open forum (or at all for that matter). If you have a problem with someone, use our PM service or contact a MOD. We can't have new members come in and think they will be subject to insults and disrespect.
- These rules are expected to carry over into chat as well. Drama and personal attacks are not needed there either. You can find a PM function there as well if you feel you need to do that kind of thing.
We would like to reaffirm that we are not trying to crack down on the site. We merely want to find ways to help this site grow and flourish. We would also like to ask that members help with that aspect, whether is telling a friend about the site or inviting someone you see on another site over to check us out. Just remember, by adding new members you are not only helping the site as a whole, but also yourself just by having more knowledge available.
I would also like to take this time to say this is not a personal attack on anyone. There have been mods and members alike that have been guilty of these things. If we see a problem we will deal with it privately, and ask that if anyone notices something to please contact a mod to have it dealt with in the proper manner.
