    This film is older than dirty, but I found it to explain how a differential works very well.

    I believe LSD is similar, there's just another mechanism on that center piece that "limits" the amount it will "slip" when the entire assembly spins fast enough. Little weights that sling out due to centrifugal force and such. Looks the axles together so they both spin. I'm sure there's other methods as well.

    Mechie huh....how far are you into your degree?

    We got a shit ton of Mechies up here at Clarkson.

    ENgineering is a good field to be in! If the woman in charge of our Engineering dept knew what she was doing, I'd still be in there!. This video is great! I learned something from it
