NOTE: Firebirds have a gel coating on their cluster that disallows color changing with LEDs. This coating can be scraped off, or you can buy a new set of overlays from the above link.

    Cluster: 8 x THESE

Dome Light: 1 x THESE This took a little rigging to make it fit, but no biggie.

    HVAC: 2 x THESE

Any other 194 bulb, like the tag or glove box will use THESE
**Note that I cannot confirm or deny any given bulb number is the same from Camaro to Firebird. Most should be the same, but without confirmed evidence, I will not claim this to be true.**

I will update this as information surfaces.

vleds is the seller on eBay I'd recommend. Great products, good prices and good customer service/return policy.

So your switch bezels on the doors are lighted up with #74 bulbs. I suggest these:

For the shift indicator (assuming auto) you can get the same or
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-V-L...ht_1642wt_1165

Your map lights are 212, I used:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RED-H...ht_1642wt_1165

The dome light is a 561, the HVAC use 2 #74, and I believe the cluster uses like 5-7 194s and all the indicator lights are 161s. I haven't actually converted the cluster or HVAC though because I have reverse glow gauges that cover up most the lights anyway and the HVAC because it messes with the colors of the temp gauge. Oh, and I don't believe there is a direct replacement for the headlight switch, but rather people just solder in an LED in place of the bulb.

Looks like vleds doesn't have many 906s in stock right now, so you may need to go to another seller, or a place like superbrightleds.com, although i've found them to be way overpriced. For the 194s I suggest the basic reverse cone leds vleds sells, they are cheap and effective.

you need 7 #194 (93-96 camaro only) just for the gauges and there not plug and play(gauges only everything else is), the stock bulbs are soldering to the twist socket. you have to break them out.

I have the wled-x5 #194's for the guages

2 #74-xHP for the door handle lights

2 #74-xHP3 for the HVAC and one for the auto shifter

1 NEOx LED 3mm for the head light switch

OK video I tried to make

These worked well for my 1993 Cavalier instrument cluster and turn signal indicators, I wonder if they will work for 93-96 F-Bodies?

UPDATE to a 6 year old thread: Took a SLEDGEHAMMER to the Cavalier and sold it for scrap ($50). Extracted LEDs from dash....

LEDs CONFIRMED. Those twist lock adapters work fine in 93-96 Camaro. You just can't twist them ALL the WAY. You can see when installing them where the contacts line up. Also, for the license plate light, these fit well and the housing reseals (for me, it did anyway).

On this link it says "Gauge Cluster - 5 of the WLEDx5 They come with resistors built in, so they are completely plug and play. " Are they a simple plug and play swap on 97+?

How hard would it be to change my 2000 to an icy blue color?

yeah, the 97-02 Camaros and 93-02 birds only use 5 LEDs and there all plug and play, just undo the bezel around the gauges, take out for bolts an slide the cluster out and swap bulbs thats it. an yes the bulbs form superbrightleds have the resistors built in.

also on the 97-02 Camaros if you use white LEDs the gauges light up a cool blue color.
