DIY EGR Block Off Plates

I know that i posted this a year ago but i just now got around to putting my plates on and i have an update. the exhaust plate has to be very thick and/or have a plug .625 diameter by .5" long. otherwise its leaks. i suggest a plug it works great.

Haha. good deal. You had to do a little modification so they weren't perfect.

An added plug solved all my problems. I've also not had any problems since.

.125" alum plate and steel plug

The plug... Did you form it or did you find .625 stock. I have a stainless plate, but no plug.

yeah it was a stock steel bar that we tapped for a screw.
