Prediction time peoples. I'm running tomorrow for the first time this season. Last time out I ran a 15.27 at 89. Since then I have added more traction but more rotating weight. Car with me in it will probably weigh a bit under 3480. Gonna be a cool morning as well. Times

I don't think I'm gonna have a free weekend to get the Monte to maple Grove before the csc is put on.

Don't worry I'm probably not going to race for a while anyway. After 184k miles and 40 passes my trans is getting a bit weak at wot. No videos today or pics, but I only ran a 15.35 at 88. The 1st to 2nd shift is awful. Feels something like a big rig changing gears. Its fine at part throttle though. I'll look into then.

    - Inspect it, its only a year out Done

Still lots to before the gathering, but I did start to clean it up a bit. I can't get in the mood to clean the engine bay up, but I'll probably do it tomorrow.

Bumper needs a painting bad. Other than that that is pretty much what you'll see at the gathering unless I put the old seats back in it. The corbeaus are too bad to show.

More carnage done to my car. Someone hit the bumper on the left side and put a nice white scrape in it.

Well the gathering was a fun time. Drove around 1700 miles and ventured through 7 states and finally met some of you people in person. Had a great time, but I will say next time I'm sleeping before I take an adventure like that again, and I'm also leaving at night because that drive back from Ga sucked bad.

Like Brent I was working on a project before the gathering and the chicken set me back as well. It was one of the reasons I didn't get to work on mine all that much before then although I really only wanted to respray my spoiler and bumper. I decided to paint the white Camaro's front end about two weeks before the gathering while it was down for headgaskets. It also got its new exhaust not long before the trip.

That is pretty much what it has looked like for some time now.

Started with just the fender to see if she would like it. Never gonna use newspaper again, but I'm no painter.

White is just so much easier than black to make good.

Damn newspaper stuck to the black which sucked. The heads were still off when I took that pic. Mike wasn't all that thrilled about putting it back together.

Came out pretty good when it got color sanded.

That car ate up a lot of time before this trip, but it did good. Can't complain about either car. The only real problem was her driveshaft scraping which made my car have to carry all the weight, but it wasn't bad. Biggest issue I ran into was my cruise cable falling off and sometime on the trip down I guess the air filter fell off.

    Some gathering pics:

Met up with the old man and TT in Sc while I was napping.

    Matt's chicken is pretty nice.

    As is Brent's

    Dyno was fun

These next ones are the trip back. 6 hours in Ga Apparently people in Ga like to roll their cars over.

I'll say the views in Nc, Sc, and Va were all pretty nice especially in lower Va. I'll tell you I got used to other state's roads in a short time. As soon as we crossed back into Pa the misery began.

Yesterday I decided to install something I picked up for free at the gathering

I'd post up some pics, but my phone is dead. Also had to replace the plugs because it started missing the day after I got back.
