    Yeah i have gotten many over the years and it sucks. Headed out now to get those estimates and im going to get some other ones for painting some other things on the truck

    well tail lights are done. emblem is done, third brake light looks like crap so im going to try and wet sand it and make it look better. Side strips are gone and the back badge is about half way done. that thing it a pain in the ass to get off!!!

    Here is another update!!!!




    like i was saying third brake light looks bad. i though i needed to sand them and used too heavy a grit. so im going to have to wet sand and see if the come out better. or i might leave it since im going to replace it anyways. I dont think people pay much attention to them anyways.

    well i am done for the weekend. Im having to keep the step bars for now because the wife cant get in the truck easy without them. The grill is finished. it is by noo means professional. Im not really happy with it. But it will hold untill i get money to get a bodyshop to do the work and i still need to remove the silverado emblem that thing took me an hour to get it half way off lol.





    im going to try and scrounge up some change to get her washed today and get some better pictures.

    A cheap heat gun or blow dryer will help get that emblem off alot easier.... clean up any remaining residue with Goo Gone.

    ill have to borrow one from soneone then. i have the goo gone and it helped get it off for the most part but just didnt do enough.

    Just be easy to not get the heat too close to the paint... it will bubble it if you do... just moderate heating will help loosen the adhesive.
