yeah i know what you mean. I was wondering about painting the grille like that. once the guy showed me that picture i was prepping the grille for paint with in 5 minutes.

well i was able to dig up some change to take the car to the self wash down the road. Its amazing how fast you have to move when you only have enough change on you for 5 minutes of wash time




one of these days ill get a nice camera to take nice pictures. untill then ill have to keep using the Evo's camera

Once more money comes in. Im going to go to some body shops and get some prices. If i had the garage space i would do it myself but living in an apartment just doesnt work out.

Well here is an update i got the muffler i wanted on the truck. I payed 141.00 out the door for muffler plus install.



heres an interior video. i have an exterior but i have an exhaust leak up front im fixing this weekend hopefully (have a snapped bolt). Sorry for it being sideways. I thought my phone would auto ajust for it being in my mount like that but is didnt so just turn you monitor sideways lol

So another little update. I got the HID's in and the switchbacks were on back order so im waiting on them to come in hopefully by friday.




The wife got hers done also. I didnt get as much as i thought i would from the rents for my B-day so im kind of at a stopping point. I have 223 to play with. i can get my windows tinted for 60 plus tax legal and 80 plus tax non legal. wich would leave me with around 130. Im waiting on my dad to get his place hopefully next month and then i can have a place to paint since the wife banned me from painting in the basement . my grille is already chipping which i figured would happen since i wasnt able to prep it right or get as many coats on. I guess what i will do i just buy more paint and prep materials and try and find a place to paint in the mean time. Im trying to figure out a way to paint my wheels in a way that will look good also.

Its gonna be hard to keep that grill from chipping, Ive done my dads HHR twice and the second time I put 5 coats of color and 5 coats of clear, it lasted longer the second time but Its chipping now.

Still waiting on my switchbacks for the truck so i can get them in. The guy says they should be in today. Im changing the plans a good bit on the truck. I am still going to lower the truck and do the mods looks wise. And with work slowly picking up and her new job coming im hoping to get me another f body. Im going to save the money i wanted to put into the mods in the truck and put it into the firebird. Had a vision the other day while i was thinking about car stuff of me headed to the next meet with you guys driving the truck and it being finished and towing my f-body all finished so thats what im going to work towards for the next gathering next year. Im at a cross though as to what im going to buy though.... all the options are going to include the 3.8 in it. My first option is to recreate my third gen and modify it for a 3.8 and make a clone looks wise of my old one.

this is the highest on the list so far. It is hard finding a red third gen here though.

second option is buying a 98+ 3.8 firbird and working on that. and the most pricy one would be buying a 60's firebird that needs work and making that a 3.8 v6. i would be looking for just a roller since in my area if its got a motor its a v8 and highly modified.
