    Thanks man. Actually looking for some "cant mess up" tips on finding TDC again since I rotated the crank out of time with out a timing chain today.

    Yessir. Now that its broke im gonna do more cleaning up. Just did the front cover in in silver engine enamel. Trying to decide what to do with the TB, its red now. Either Silver or Pontiac Blue, depending on what I do with the plenum.

    Hell yeah, id probably go silver, heres a pic of mine.



    Its just a 3.4l, but it turns heads. I like my little peanut motor.

    Nice job, I remember all hours i spent. get-er-dun dammit. :P i like the colors. the red definitely makes it pop.


    TDC can be found by removing #1 spark plug and using a screwdriver or probe to feel the piston reach TDC.

    Yeah the reds gone now. Painted the TB silver yesterday, and the whisper lid is black again. The coils and module bracket will remain. Regret not really prepping the TB, it doesn't look nearly as good as when it was red. It looked seriously professional before.

    Made some head way for the cam last night, will post pics later.
