I dont know about J, but 3.8blackmaro is just about to finish up his 3X00 build. He is really close to turning the key.

Yea but its really no different than using the 3.4. Only different thing for me is I'm using a 3400 block. Other than that its really not that big of a difference.

Well if I was going to do the 3400 top end I'd need to worry about modifying brackets as well as dealing w/ compression issues right?

Well guys sorry i've been absent over a year. Lifes been busy for me. A buddy of mine bought the 94 from me, i then took the money and put towards what i have now..hate to see it go but life lives on. Anyway i would like to thank everyone for everything ive read on this site lots of great info! zzzzya guys later!

Im planing the same build here soon 60degreev6 has helped alot I just skimmed this thread but your on the right track. About the trans and electronic controls you can use an older mechanical trans with a kick down it might need an adapter plater ect but its a thought are you planning on boost?
