so hard to find a descnt car.. sucks being poor. got $1500 and cant find anything around me
97 Bright Red Camaro RS-Y87Package-2.5" Harwood Hood-T/A leather seat swap
That's what I payed for my 'maro, but...I then had to also pay for a master cylinder and clutch fluid...then I changed brake fluid, tranny fluid, oil, plugs and wires...I really feel that is mandatory for most cars when purchased. Especially in the $1500 range. Tires weren't long after, that's at LEAST another $300 minimum on stock rims..unless you buy used tires maybe.
Make sure you factor all that in as well, or else you are going to be sitting on a $1500 car that doesn't go anywhere. If you have a steady job and are old enough, or have a cosigner you might think of getting a loan for one. Then using the $1500 for unforeseen maintenance/problems. As long as you are the primary loanee and you don't default, the cosigner wouldn't be able to take your car from you or anything like that. At least legally anyway.
