I just bought a 97 cavalier to be my winter car. this will be going into to storage in a week or two. and in the spring time i will use the cav as my DD.

Start with those god awful rims haha. I would begin with cleaning the living crap out of your interior and in the engine bay. A minty clean engine bay especially really ups the wow factor when you show it off!
That's a good looking motor! I definitely plan on painting the valve covers and intake and possibly the throttle body, or just polish that

Next few things on my to do list is to fix my headlight, paint my calipers, find new rims, and paint or.remove the body side moldings

So I took apart my whole air intake in hopes of deleting the air silencer and painting the lid. But I cannot find a rubber hose larger enough.
Does anyone who did this have any advice? I've been to home depot, Lowes, and the local auto part stores in the last 2 days and I'm getting frustrated. I believe its a 3.5" diameter.
