I figure i post this one up.
This beauty started as a 1970 Camaro RS my grandfather bought back in '76 and did a complete restoration on it in Ohio. This is the second restoration, which was started in 1990. By 2000, I started to help him restore it from the body, to the engine, to the wheels and tires. The '70 Camaro project was finished on September 11, 2001. The entire restoration was done in a two-car garage. So far, it has won many 1st place and class winner awards in two different states (Ohio and South Carolina, soon Florida). The Z28 is also a club car of the Palmetto Cruisers car club in Florence, SC. The camaro was in Florence, SC for i was taking care of it while he was trying to sell their house, but now it is currently residing at my grandparents' house in Fort Myers, Florida, mainly because it will give my granddad something to do. Its also been down the drag strip several times, best 1/4 mile time with street tires was a 14.354 @ 95.347 and the best 1/4 mile time with slicks was a 14.207 @ 97.379; New times will be coming soon.
