Default Meet "Purple Haze", my new '98 Purple Firebird :)

Just brought this home today! It's a 1998 Firebird V6/Auto in Bright Purple Metallic with a grey leather interior & chrome wheels. I know BPM is rare and I was told this is approx 1 of 46 with the specific option list that it was built with (there were about 290 -ish BPM Firebird coupes total I think). I plan to order a CompNine report soon to confirm.

I've wanted a purple '98 for as long as I first found out about them (Purple & Gold are my holy grail colors), NEVER thought I'd own one! It was just listed on CL yesterday as well. I ended up trading my clean/low mileage '98 Ram 1500 for this straight up It is very clean but does have a couple dime size rust spots just starting on the rockers, I plan to fix it immediately and hopefully it will be completely repainted before winter. It needs headlight motors & the trim pieces too. I know it's not as rare as a BMP Trans Am, but I'm not complaining LOL

Sorry for the somewhat dark pics, we got home around dusk & gave it a quick bath. It is not perfect (has some clear coat peeling) but it will be restored to factory fresh as time allows

All in good time, I do like the chrome but the previous owners did not keep them clean, so they are stained with brake dust -_-

I'm thinking of getting some late '01-'02 WS6 wheels and having them redone in black chrome, haven't seen that done I don't think. (It probably has been but I'll pretend it hasn't LOL).
