Dedicated app dev?

I know Courtney has probably been doing this. They told us in programming class to have a visual of what you want before you code. I know we are on taptalk but I felt like sharing this anyway of what the forum would look like with its own dedicated app.

All great ideas to add, right now I know I probably have more time than most. (BTW looking for a job for almost 7 months is no fun.) If you have any ideas at all and dont want to or dont have time for it, post it in here and I or someone who wants to can take it and do it. The length of the visuals I posted are 3.5" wide by 4" tall (A little bigger than the new iPod IIRC).

With the SDK that android offers I am sure we can have a bunch of color schemes. Along with a new layout for mobile and I think we could reach a lot of people!

I know of one forum right now that offers a free app for their forum. I am going to try to find out what they used. If you want to check the app out it is called Home Brew Forums. Not saying you have to download it but the screenshots are there.

Already thought of that haha. Was like "It'd be cool" But a stand alone app is what I'm talkin.

Let me clarify my vision.

The app will be nothing but an extension of being on a PC looking at the forum. What I envision is being able to access everything from Mod panel if you're a moderator to simpler things like the photo album here.

When I'm on tapatalk writing a reply, and I click on the upload picture, other forums give me the option to host it from that forum, or threw tapatalk. But this site doesn't have the forum option just tapatalk. And I hit the limit of pic uploads threw them. And way to change this or will I have to buy their damn unlimited pic hosting
