As for the stall, i'm still debating which one i should go with
Rocker arms shouldn't "wear" enough that you would ever need to replace them. they are pretty stout little castings.

Unhappy Motor shot and sold off :(

Well, after 8 years of ownership, I've sold my 2000 Camaro off today, as the motor is now shot and attempts to locate a another engine within my price range and state of condition proved to be unsuccessful. I managed to get $1,500 for it, and I'll probably put it towards another one.

Sorry to hear that. As hard as a decision it may have been, it sounds like you made a wise choice. Hope you find something good.

I hope you find a new ride soon. You might want to build a sweet motor and a reliable trans first then find a cheap car with a bad or no motor. This would let you spread out the cash outlay, lets you know the motor and trans are good, and lets you pick which ones you want, instead of "what it came with".

I know I haven't been on here for quite some time, but I wanted to give an update on my situation since I sold my '00 Camaro; As of December, I'm a proud owner of a '97 Trans Am and I'm loving it, and with that said, I'm sad to say that I'll probably close my profile on here. It was great of y'all helping me out with any issues I had

Wow, a thread from the past lol. I'm glad to hear you stayed with an Fbody. I can imagine that the Extra HP has something to do with your how much you love it lol. Congratulations.

You can still stop by the forum and post. even though the forum is much slower than it was there are still people with builds that post questions and progress. Any posts, i think, are helpful even if they are only to help motivate.

It's good to hear from a long time member.
