    I don't see why not, you'd likely want to port and polish the intake afterwords but after a bath all the material should be rinsed away

    simple way is to take sandpaper and hand sand the insides of the intake smooth to improve air flow or have a shop port and polish it which is a little better

    The gains are minimal either way though right? I might do it just to kill some time waiting for parts, but I dont know if it's really worth it :/

    I'll consider it haha. Thanks for the idea Dustin FI is the furthest thing from my mind right now tbh haha. But I think I have my cam picked out, now it's just a matter of swinging the funds for the cam and springs and what not. Also, does anyone know if you can gear the V6s? Like, instead of the timing chain having timing gears?

    not sure what the benefit is. the chains are pretty robust. you can go double roller chain for FI applications.

    I kind of like the sound of the gears though, plus the chances of a gear breaking is alot lower than a chain slipping or anything right. When are you going to paint your car btw? I feel like it's been that primer blue for years hahaha
