    New thread just for talking about Disc Golf

    exactly. rules and everything are the same.

    the big differences are ball and discs (frisbee) don't fly the same. Discs have a lot more complex physics going on. Secondly ball golf courses are heavily manicured as opposed to discgolf where 50% of the holes are like hiking trails with plenty of trees and other haxards. Third, its a fraction of the cost of ball golf and IMO a lot more fun.

    It nice to hit the chains from 200 ft away with a disc that doesn't fly straight. BTW none of the disc fly perfectly straight. that's part of the complex physics that happen with spinning objects in air.
