Adding interior lights on the inside of rear hatch to light up trunk. These camaro's never had trunk lights and it's a PITA to find stuff at night. The 2 outside black units will be replaced with silver units before final mounting & wiring.

You should have one in the trunk area and your rear dome light.
But that's not a bad idea, if you need extra light.

That doesn't seem like too bad of an idea actually. If its dark there's no real light down in the t-top holder area and this would illuminate it I'll bet.

I've been wanting to do something like this for the trunk area. I hardly get in my trunk my trunk so its never been on top of my list. I've been upgrading my interior lights to LED with some special arrays from work.

this is what im using to light it up in the back. They've got a wide spread and each one puts out 50 lumens. So that x4 it should work pretty good

I should mention that i do have an old school 20in blacklight neon tube in the t-top center bar. I have it on a toggle switch. Back many years ago when i was 17 i added an extra blacklight in the trunk above the rear subwoofers. It never worked as it would rattle loose. But i still having the wiring ran into the back and it's connected to the same toggle switch. So i plan on also adding " https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...-light/57/359/ " these 5mm LEd bolts about 10 - 12 of em into the trunk also. So when i turn on my interior blacklight it also lights up the trunk in blacklight as well

It's been a long time since I had a coupe, but there should be a light under the lock handle. Anyways I never use my trunk expect for my tonneau cover, which takes up the whole thing lol
