Apparently on the 98+ accords you have to drop the rear subframe lol. I love my 96.

The android head unit is doing well. A little slow but I have had it for quite some time now. It has a px3 core board. Which I can swap for a px5. Better cpu, more RAM, better tuner and Oreo 8.1 among other things. Gonna get torque pro.

Also so I can leave the ODB2 adapter plugged in, I'm gonna remove the constant 12v from the odb port and replace it with key on power. The adapter itself has a sleep mode and doesn't quite wake up when I restart the car. So doing this will make it power on with the head unit. Also because the standby drain is minimal once I replace the battery I'm gonna set the head unit to never power down so it starts instantly.

yeah i have a tablet that i have to cycle the charger on a timer. my drive to work is too short and it will not recharge the lost battery in teh 15 minutes the key is on.

I do have the issue that if My car is parked for several days my battery struggles some. I have my OBD2 adapter plus a car charger for the tablet running

Yea the car charger is what's draining it. The current is too high. Usually 500-2000mA(.5-2Amps).

The android head units constant wire pulls less than the ODB2 adapter. Both around 30mA.

You could work around it by using a lower mAh rated charger. It'll charge slower, but also won't kill your battery.

I've got a relay that has a delay off. so It can charge for an or 2 hours after i turn off the car. I just haven't installed it.
