So this week I've been preparing for parking my Camaro for the SC upgrade. Unfortunately it means pulling the trans and fixing a super leaky slave cylinder. and i mean super leaky

I cleaned up the bell housing some and now the trans is back in the truck. I have to finish bolting everything up and that problem is fixed.

It was really a pain to drive it when the reservoir would empty in one day. it would literally fill the bell housing and if i stopped fast enough it would pour out of the bell housing onto the exhaust and a huge cloud of white smoke would swallow the truck.

Yea when delivery driving I'd have to top off the res every few days. Glad mine wasn't leaking like that though. I can't pull just the trans like the Camaro lol. Whole shebang comes out for that.

I wish the NV transmissions would hold good power. Considerably cheaper than a t56 lol.

The one thing I didn't fix is the o2 sensor. the wires are fine. I checked them when the trans was off. so the next thing was to fix that. then all the mechanical and electrical issues with the truck are pretty much fixed. it's just maintenance after that.

this weekend I wanted to tackle the o2 sensor issue. I bought a new sensor to swap out. i thought it was just going to be a sensor swap..... i was wrong

I had so much trouble getting leverage on it from the bottom i had to pull the wheel well out.

I got the sensor out and realized it was cross threaded.
the new sensor would not even start.

The right thing to do is to pull the exhaust manifold which means the PS pump and AC compressor had to come loose

good thing i pulled the fender well

    threads fixed

I snapped a bolt, tried to re tap the hole and failed. so i improvised

I got it all back together and still, the o2 sensor reads 0 volts.
