https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdL7s5Y7Mhc That's the double din setup I'm going to use. When you say over size the wire what do you mean by that exactly? What's a good wire brand?

I just want to make sure I do all this the right way while I already have the carpet and stuff out. I'm trying to find a cost effective way of sound dampening the interior as well. Do you have any recommendations for that as well?

well if the specs says 4 gauge jump up to 2 gauge on your power wire for amps. make good ground points also. take paint off and make a good connection to the metal.

Also account for voltage drop over long distances for your power wire.

I can only think on stinger as a brand that i have used. I'm sure there are other brands. basically if its on crutchfield i'll say it a good brand. looks like they use t-spec brand wire kits

as for the video they also say to cut the dash out. i didn't think a double din would fit without cutting that part out.
